Student Competitions
To maintain membership with UMD ACI, each student must participate in at least one of the following competitions. Take a look at each and see which one most interests you!
Strongest University
This competition involves designing a mix that when poured and cured will be the strongest it can be within a certain range. This competition will occur locally against other universities nearby, but may also occur nationally as well.
If you're interested, you're welcome to attend our workshops once the dates and locations are announced! If you have any questions, please feel free to email us.
Concrete Canoe
ASCE has two major competitions each year, and those are the concrete canoe and steel bridge competition. The concrete canoe competition counts towards your participation requirement for ACI, so if you want to get involved, check them out!
